Born in Germany in 1972, David Dubois is a philosopher, writer and translator from sanskrit.
He discovered meditation and yoga in 1985, practised zen and Hatha Yoga. He tumbled on the Vijnana Bhairava Tantra in 1990 and started to learn sanskrit.
He went to India in 1991 to learn indian Martial Arts and Ayurveda. Since then, he spent several years in south and north India, to study the philosophy and practice of Tantra with masters of the tradition.
An initiate in Smarta, Vira Shaiva and Shri Vidya, he shares his passion for Tantra through workshops, books, a blog and videos.
He is a Ph.D. in Comparative Philosophy, has been teaching in universities and has published over twenty books.
Today, he lives in the french Alps, where he practises meditation, yoga, writing and poetry with his dog Dharma. He continues to explore the Tantra tradition from primary sources, while expressing it along modern values.
