This weekend workshop offers a complete study of the Bodha-pañcadaśikā (“The Fifteen Verses for Awakening”), a concise and profound text attributed to Abhinavagupta, one of the central figures of the non-dual Śaiva tradition of Kashmir.

Over the course of the two days, the entire text will be covered verse by verse. Each verse will be carefully translated and explained, drawing on a previously unpublished traditional Sanskrit commentary, which sheds light on the philosophical depth and practical implications of the text.

At the same time, these verses are not only meant to be understood. They function as direct indications toward recognition (pratyabhijñā). The workshop will therefore include moments of guided contemplation and meditative orientation, allowing participants to approach the text not only conceptually, but within their own experience.

Rather than offering a general overview, this workshop proposes a direct encounter with the text itself, approached with precision, patience, and attention.
