Online Workshop (Live on Zoom)
Abhinavagupta’s Bodha-pañcadaśikā
A contemplative and textual immersion in the Trika tradition
Dates: June 13-14, 2026
Format: Live, online (Zoom)
Taught from Paris (France)
Schedule adapted for US and Europe
About the Workshop
This weekend workshop offers a guided study of the Bodha-pañcadaśikā, a short but profound text attributed to Abhinavagupta, one of the most influential masters of the non-dual Śaiva tradition of Kashmir.
Rather than a general introduction or a modern reinterpretation, this workshop is a close reading of the text, with detailed commentary and time for reflection and exchange.
The aim is not to cover everything, but to enter deeply into a few essential verses, and to approach them both intellectually and contemplatively.
This is a space for careful listening, inquiry, and assimilation.
Approach
- Reading and translation of selected verses
- Detailed philosophical commentary
- Clarification of key concepts of the Trika tradition
- Time for questions and discussion
- Periods of quiet reflection
This is not a casual or purely inspirational event. It is a committed study, accessible to sincere practitioners and students, even without prior specialization.
